Abbreviations:
ch - chain
tr - treble
Pattern:
The pattern is formed from multiples of two stitches plus one extra. Start with an odd number of chains, plus three extra.
Foundation row: 1 tr into 6th ch from the hook, * 1 ch, miss 1 ch, 1 tr into next ch, repeat from * to the end, turn.
Row 1: 4 ch, miss tr at the base of 4 ch, 1 tr into next tr, * 1 ch, miss 1 ch, 1 tr into next tr, repeat from *, tr of the last repeat worked into 3rd of 4 ch at the beginning of the previous row, turn.
Repeat Row 1 to form the pattern.
