This is Peppa Pig, which together with the colourful balloons shown in the previous post will be used for making a birthday card for my little niece.
To make Peppa I started with an internet search for suitable picture of Peppa to use as a template. Peppa is made from tight coils of 3 mm strips. The bow is made from four elements, each in the shape of a tear, again made from 3 mm strips. The individual parts of Peppa, excluding the tail, are wrapped with 3 mm strips for aestethic reasons as well as to mark the outlines of the head, nose, ears, dress, hands, legs and shoes.
