Potato Stamp
Have you ever made stamps from potatoes? No? Well, it's time to try.
When I was a little girl I made loads of potato stamps. It's quite simple and makes a fun craft not only for you but also for your little one.

What you will need is a potato and a small, sharp knife.
Start with a clean potato. Cut it in half and carve out the desired shape on the cut side of the potato.
Once you are happy with your stamp design you can use it to make some prints, by dipping it in paint or pressing it onto ink pads. Make sure that the bottom of your stamp is coated evenly. Remember to press it firmly onto the paper.
You can make different shapes of stamps and use different colours of paint. The bottom line is to have fun with it!
As you can see below, I made a star shaped stamp. I'm going to use it to make this year's Christmas cards.
