Snowman Footprint Christmas Cards
Another footprint Christmas cards: this time the little footprint is dressed up as a snowman. I think these cards with snowmen turned out as adorable as the ones with Rudolph.
Even if your child is only a few months old and likes to kick a lot, you can still make neat footprints by lying your baby on its tummy - as long as they haven't learned to crawl away! In this way your baby will wiggle less and there will be more chance to take nice footprints. Of course this might not work for everyone, as some babies don't like to lay on their tummy. In that case put baby on its back and be patient while making footprints. In my case laying my Little One on his tummy worked really well as he likes it a lot and he kicked much less.
There's not much you need to make these cards:
1. Folded brown card, with dimensions 13.5 x 13.5 cm (after folding) from the Pollen series by Clairefontaine, and a matching envelope with dimensions 16.5 x 16.5 cm.
2. White, non-toxic, water-washable paint.
3. Silver and black markers.
4. Some colourful strips of quilling paper for making hats and scarves.
When you have your paper and paint prepared, paint your baby's foot using a paintbrush and then press the foot onto the paper.
When the print is dry draw some eyes, buttons, and arms. Next cut out the nose from orange paper, and use colourful strips of quilling paper to cut out hats and scarves. That's it!
