Balony! Balloons!

Balloons / Balony
Balloons! When I was younger I always wanted to experience a balloon flight. I'm not sure whether or not I would find the courage to do it nowadays (most likely I would!).
I made two cards with balloons: one is for my Mum for her name day, and the other one is for my brother-in-law for his birthday.

To make these cards I used a balloon stamp and a "Best Wishes" stamp that were among all the goodies I won in the competition on the Crafty Cardmakers Challenge Blog. You can read about it here. Besides of the stamps you need:

1. Two 13.5 cm (folded size) white cards and matching envelopes from the Docrafts Anita's Square Card and Envelope set.

2. Docrafts Papermania - Mini Ink Pads (dye based).

3. A "Happy Birthday" stamp.

4. A pair of scissors.

5. A few white double-sided sticky pads with dimensions 5 mm x 5 mm and 2 mm thickness.

To make the card simply stamp all the sentiments and six balloons using different colours of ink. Cut out all the stamped elements. Cut the edges of the card to change it into a rectangle. Stick all the elements (one sentiment and three balloons per card) to the card using sticky pads and you are done.

Have fun creating!

  2. Fab balloons! Inking them up in different coloured inks was a brilliant idea and I love how you kept them uncoloured inside the lines as it really helps to keep an airy CAS look. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
